Hi, I'm Katie. Let me tell you about Faith For Her.
Hi, I'm Katie Nguyen!
My passion is teaching the Bible and encouraging Biblical literacy, which I do on my podcast and through writing Bible Study content. I reside in Orange County, CA, with my husband, two children, and our very vocal dog Barge. I homeschool my two littles and have a full-time job managing social media and digital marketing for ministries and faith-based organizations. I've attended Saddleback Church since 2007, serving as a women’s Bible Study leader for over 5 years. I now serve in the Initiative for Vulnerable Children Ministry, The Anti- Human Trafficking Ministry, and other ministries that need help from time to time. To find peace in my busy schedule, you can find me every morning in the garden talking to my plants and Jesus. |
Faith For Her was birthed when I got a simple text from a woman dear to me.
"I hate to say this, but I think I am losing my faith."
My heart broke and I struggled for the right words. How do you help reignite faith in another woman without undermining the circumstances that are breaking her heart? Then God reminded me that it's not about fixing, it's about sharing. Sharing our faith with others when they need a little faith boost.
Christ followers have a unique "religion" in that it's not a religion at all. The evidence of our belief is our faith. That's it. No rituals, no idols, simply faith. Faith is mentioned in the Bible 458 times. Faith is woven through the stories of Sarah and Hannah and Esther and Ruth and Mary Mother of Jesus and Mary Magdalene and even you and me. It is the evidence of our great God. It is the foundation of following Jesus.
I pray Faith For Her becomes a place for you to come to seek refuge when your faith is wavering.
For we walk by faith, not by sight. 2 Corinthians 5:7

Statement of Faith
The Bible - All 66 books of the Old and New Testaments, are the inspired Word of God, inerrant in the original documents, and the only final authority in all matters of faith and practice.
The Trinity - There is one God, the Creator of all things, infinitely holy and eternally existent in three persons—Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
Jesus - The Lord Jesus Christ is fully God and fully Man, conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the virgin Mary, and sinlessly perfect. His sacrificial death on the cross is substitutionary and representative. He rose bodily from the dead and ascended to his Father’s right hand, where he now ministers as our Great High Priest. He will come again to receive his own unto himself and to reign in power and glory for all eternity.
Mankind - Every man, woman, and child is created by God in God’s image, as either male or female. Therefore, each person, from conception to death—whether male or female (Genesis 1:27), of every race, ethnicity, age, and ability—has intrinsic dignity and value, and should not be subject to discrimination or exploitation. Each member of the human race is fallen, sinful and lost, and regeneration by the Holy Spirit is absolutely essential for salvation. Redemption is wholly by the blood of Christ, and salvation is by grace alone through faith alone in our Lord Jesus Christ.
The Holy Spirit indwells the believer, who is sealed until the day of redemption and empowered to live a godly life, through the ongoing sanctification of the Holy Spirit.
The Church is composed of all true believers in the Lord Jesus Christ. All believers are united to him and one another by the indwelling Holy Spirit. Thus, the church is a living body, the Body of Christ.
Jesus is Coming Back! - When Christ returns at the end of the age, all true believers will see his face and be with him forever, reigning with him in splendor and great glory, through all eternity, in the new heavens and new earth.
